Cookie Notice

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more efficient, and to provide information to the operators of the site.

We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits (SDKs). When we refer to “cookies” in this Notice, we mean cookies and these similar technologies.

Cookies may be either:

• session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser; or
• persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or are deleted.

Cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies where it is reasonably required to operate the Website and Platform and to ensure security, network management, fraud prevention and system integrity. These cookies do not require your consent. They enable basic features like page navigation, secure log-in and session management.

• Examples: session cookies, authentication tokens, and a record of your cookie preferences so we can honour them on your next visit.
• Provider: Twelfth AI (first-party).

Functional cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, such as remembering your preferences, language and region. If you disable these cookies, some features may not work properly.

• Examples: preference settings, language selection.
• Provider: Twelfth AI (first-party).

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Website and Platform by collecting and reporting information anonymously or in aggregated form. This helps us improve our services.

• Examples: page views, time on site, click paths.
• Providers: PostHog and Google Analytics.
• Google Analytics cookies (for example `_ga` and `_ga_<id>`) are set on the Website only, and only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

Cookieless page counts

If you have not accepted analytics cookies, we still count your visit, but without cookies. Nothing is stored on or read from your device. PostHog combines your IP address and browser type into a code on its servers that changes every day, so we can count visitors without recognising you on a later day.

• What we count: the pages you view, how long you stay, how fast pages load, errors the Website hits, the site that referred you, and actions such as sending a demo request.
• What we do not do without your consent: set cookies, build a profile of you, record your session, or record your clicks.
• Provider: PostHog.

Marketing cookies

We do not currently use marketing, advertising or re-targeting cookies on the Website or Platform. If that changes, we will update this Notice and seek your consent before setting them.

Legal basis for using cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to enable the Website and Platform to function and to provide core features such as security, network management and accessibility. These cookies do not require your consent.

We only use functional and analytics cookies with your consent. You can choose whether to allow these cookies through the cookie banner shown when you first visit the Website, and you can update your preferences at any time using the “Cookie settings” button on this Cookie Notice page. Where you have provided consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Cookieless page counts (described above) do not store anything on your device, so they do not depend on your cookie choice. We use them so we can understand how the Website is used by everyone, not only those who accept cookies.

Platform-specific use of cookies

Within the Platform, we use cookies and similar technologies to support secure user sessions, maintain system performance, and detect or prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

We do not use cookies to access or analyse customer data stored within the Platform, except where necessary for security, system integrity, or to comply with legal obligations.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these third-party cookies. For more information about how these third parties handle your data, please refer to their respective privacy and cookie policies.

These third parties may process your information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Current third parties include:

• PostHog — product analytics. Its cookies are set only where you have consented to analytics cookies; otherwise it provides the cookieless page counts described above.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics on the Website, set only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

The Website and Platform are hosted on Railway, which may place strictly necessary cookies required for the operation, security and basic functionality of the Website.

Managing cookies

You can manage cookies in several ways:

• Consent banner: when you first visit the Website, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time via the “Cookie settings” button at the top of this Cookie Notice.
• Browser settings: most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Refer to your browser’s help documentation for instructions.
• Opt-out tools: for some third-party analytics cookies, you can opt out using industry tools such as youronlinechoices.com.au.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Website from working properly.

We are committed to providing clear and transparent choices and do not use misleading or coercive interfaces to obtain your consent.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by displaying a notice on the Website). The most current version will always be posted on the Website with an updated effective date.
